CodePlay 2006: Competition Day

The excitment has begun on the 9th of December at the Computing Lab (CR3050) where a total of 6 teams: 4 solo|2 pairs battle for the CodePlay 2006 hotseat.
The atmosphere of the Computer Lab was so uptight where you can see all participants compete with high spirit. An in between break was given to the participants where then the refreshments are served. Astonishingly some participants were so into the competition they did not want to take a break until the competition is over. Not to mention that some participants even code while still having food in their mouth.
When the time is almost up, some participants suggested extending the time so that they can implement more rules into the game. As for this is the first time GDC had ever organized such an event, we are very proud that there are such high spirited programmers in MMU. The competition lasted 3 hours so the competition officially ends at 1.30pm.
