Game Programmer

PROGRAMMER – PC CASUAL GAMES
We need sharp and innovative programmers to build our upcoming titles, working with the highly advanced “Sliepner” game engine. This is a full time exclusive contract position working on fully funded AAA casual games.

Responsibilities:
All aspects of casual game programming, including:
- UI and Interface
- Gameplay
- Special Effects
- Online and community
- Editors and tools
- Directly involved in game design for all products

Requirements
- A deep and genuine interest in casual games
- Highly developed C++ skills an absolute must
- PHP and other database programming very helpful
- Strong problem solving skills
- Basic MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
- Ability to work at home in a “virtual studio” environment

Education Requirements
- University degree in CS highly preferred
- Programming and scripting language experience highly regarded

WEB DEVELOPER
We need a contract developer to be our “go to person” for developing and maintaining the Boomzap websites. This is a work from home flat-rate contract position.

Responsibilities:
- Rebuilding and maintaining the Boomzap web presence
- Optimizing the site and integrating marketing tools

Requirements
- PHP and backend database coding
- Photoshop and Graphic design skills
- E-commerce and marketing skills
- An interest in casual or indie games a definite plus
- Ability to work at home in a “virtual studio” environment

Education Requirements
- Professional training in web development and/or graphic design

GAME DESIGNER _ CASUAL GAMES

We need creative and dedicated casual game designers to imagine, build, and test innovative gameplay for our upcoming titles. This is a full time exclusive contract position working on fully funded AAA casual games.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and testing casual games
- Developing new casual gameplay mechanics
- Balancing gameplay through level design and scripting

Requirements:
- A deep and genuine interest in casual games
- Game design and/or testing experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Basic MS Office skills
- Highly Advanced MS Excel skills
- Ability to work at home in a “virtual studio” environment

Education Requirements
- University degree preferred, but not required.
- Programming and scripting language experience highly regarded
- Foreign language skills, particularly Japanese, Chinese, and Korean a huge plus
