[GDC] Card and Board Games Gathering Report #3

An exciting card and board games session ever, there were like 40 people who came and with the bigger room we had it still got stuffy. Apparently Toybox came to supply us with 5 of their board games and seriously it was awesome. People were playing Settles of Catan, Risk, Bang, and many others, the whole room sounded like a night market with everyone talking and enjoying the games.
Too bad for the World of Warcraft card players because most of them were too obsessed with playing the board games till we had no time to play the new boss deck which was Magteridon’s Lair.
Settles of Catan was so far the craziest game ever for the night, everyone else at least played their game twice or more and they were still on their first one. The game was basically based on psychology thinking and manipulating everyone else to agree with you. Well that gives you the cunning sides of the players trying to score and backstabbing someone who is going to win.
The gathering had to end around 11pm but everyone had fun. First of all we have to thank Toybox for providing the board games and they are still lending us their games and it’s different for each week so stay tuned on what’s next!!
